Artizan began in 2003, originally as a small hydraulic core drilling supplier. After a short time we could see the need in the market for specialist construction equipment and began to expand into this area with the design and manufacture of floor preparation and polishing machines, which are now exported worldwide.
In 2005 we began production of our first petrol hydraulic powerpack along with our 16" hydraulic handsaw. Later in the same year we introduced the first New Zealand manufactured purpose built 20" hydraulic handsaw, which at the request of end users was quickly upgraded to enable flush cutting.
In 2006 Artizan relocated to our first Sydenham location.
We now offer a comprehensive design build production facility with full in house machining and fabrication facilities, including recently added induction welding facilities for production of blades up to 2000mm diameter. Artizan stock a complete range of diamond tooling and associated equipment for all construction sectors.
Due to continued growth in 2016 Artizan moved to a larger higher profile building where we were able to build our stock to ensure minimal disruption due to inadequate stock levels.
2017 we established an Auckland office to enable us to better service our increasing North Island market.
